Shareholder Experience

John Wright began his career working from the 'entry part' of the industry on a Jack and Roll Crew and moved through the various positions to become a heavy haul driver. He spent many years loading, offloading, and transporting over-sized oilfield, wind, mining, and power generation equipment. John then moved into the office and became a project manager, and was later promoted to branch manager for a major Canadian heavy haul carrier. While managing the branch, John was responsible for business development, forecasting revenue, CAPEX plans, managing safety and maintenance programs, and federal and provincial government relations.

John’s passion is for project planning and execution. He enjoys taking an active role in pre-FEED and FEED stages to advise customers on shipping parameters, design practices and to ensure they spend their money most effectively. During the execution phase, John manages the carriers and liaises with the customer’s project team to ensure that all transportation work is performed safely and expeditiously while supporting the construction process. John enjoys working with his customers to educate them on transportation to ensure they realize maximum cost savings on their projects.
